Job summary

Park Nicollet, part of HealthPartners, is seeking a Laboratory Assistant III to support Eden Prairie, Chanhassen, and Wayzata clinics. The role includes specimen collection, phlebotomy, testing, and front-desk duties, with emphasis on patient safety and timely workflow.

The candidate should have an associate degree in applied science (or equivalent) and strong customer service and organizational skills. Hospital experience is preferred; ASCP phlebotomy certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires a 2-year or associate degree in applied science or equivalent.
• ASCP certification for phlebotomy preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous laboratory or healthcare experience preferred.
• One year hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collection, testing, and phlebotomy under supervision.
• Manage scheduling, billing and reception duties as needed.
• Communicate with clinical teams and document results.
• Maintain equipment quality control and participate in safety training.
