Job summary

Park Nicollet seeks a Laboratory Assistant, Outreach Phlebotomist to support patient care through accurate specimen collection and friendly reception at the lab.

You will handle phlebotomy, ordering, scheduling and billing tasks, and assist staff with specimen processing and workflow. A strong service mindset and ability to work independently are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High accuracy in specimen handling and labeling.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to drive Park Nicollet vehicles if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of laboratory services including specimen collection and phlebotomy.
• Assist with client service and reception duties.
• Handle ordering, scheduling and billing functions.
• Perform laboratory testing, specimen processing and dispatch.
• Deliver specimens to appropriate laboratory/department.
• Support workflow efficiency and respond to staff questions about specimen handling.
