Job summary

ALVERNO in Hammond, IN is seeking a Central Laboratory - Microbiology technician for 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM shifts with weekend/holiday rotation. This full-time role focuses on processing specimens and analyzing waived and moderately complex tests to deliver accurate results for hospital labs within a large Midwest network.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and 12–18 months of related experience, plus familiarity with laboratory terminology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Twelve (12) to eighteen (18) months of related experience is preferred.
• Background in medical laboratory and/or knowledge of medical terminology is required.
