Franciscan Health Indianapolis is seeking a laboratory technician to join the ALVERNO lab team. The role focuses on specimen processing and the analysis, evaluation and reporting of waived and moderately complex test results, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and 12–18 months of related experience; background in medical terminology and laboratory knowledge are required.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

This individual is responsible for specimen processing and the analysis, evaluation and reporting of waived and moderately complex laboratory test results, in accordance with established departmental procedures and professional standards, to provide appropriate specimens and accurate data in a timely manner.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Twelve (12) to eighteen (18) months of related experience is preferred.

Background in medical laboratory and/or knowledge of medical terminology is required.
