Job summary

CBL Path, Inc. in Rye Brook, NY is seeking a Lab Aide for the 2nd shift to ensure proper processing of patient specimens and to support daily lab operations. You will handle specimen preparation, routing, and storage while maintaining strict safety and quality controls.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment including centrifuges and computers.

Responsibilities

• Perform vital part of the patient care process by ensuring laboratory specimens are properly processed, prepared, routed, and stored.
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions.
• Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
