Job summary

CBL Path, Inc. in Rye Brook, NY is seeking a Laboratory Technician for the 2nd shift. You will ensure patient specimens are properly processed, routed, and stored, with a focus on safety and quality in a regulated lab environment.

The role requires prior specimen processing experience, strong reading and analytical skills, and the ability to operate standard lab equipment. Benefits eligible position with a focus on teamwork and patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including centrifuges and alarms.

Responsibilities

• Perform processing, routing, and storage of laboratory specimens.
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement solutions.
• Work in a lab with PPE requirements and potential biological hazards.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
