Job summary

Frontline, a Los Angeles-based managed IT services provider, seeks a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer to lead client projects end to end on-site across LA County. You will scope with the vCIO team, build project plans, execute the work, and own outcomes—covering Windows Server, virtualization, networking, and MS 365—with regular client-site travel.

You’ll contribute deep expertise in server OS, AD, virtualization, cloud migrations, and security tooling while coordinating with stakeholders to

Qualifications

• 5+ years in systems or network engineering
• Led infrastructure projects from plan to completion
• Hands-on with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Hyper‑V or VMware
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration incl. Exchange Online, SharePoint, Intune/Autopilot
• Comfortable supporting macOS alongside Windows in mixed environments
• Firewall and switching configuration experience (Fortinet preferred) and VLANs/site‑to‑site VPNs
• Clear client communication, setting expectations and keeping stakeholders informed
• Valid California driver’s license and willingness to travel across LA County
• Availability for scheduled evening or weekend production window maintenance

Responsibilities

• Lead client infrastructure projects end-to-end from scoping to sign-off
• Serve as an L3 escalation point for service desk and monitor systems
• Manage NOC, SOC, and backup alerts during incidents
• Coordinate onsite work across LA County with regular travel
• Collaborate with vCIO team to align project scope and milestones
