Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an L2/L3 Data Center Technician for a contract role in San Jose, CA. This onsite graveyard-shift position focuses on data center operations, advanced troubleshooting, and coordinating builds and escalations with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years as a technical lead, can supervise peers, review build documentation, and serve as an escalation point for L1/L2 teams, ensuring projects meet data center standards and are delivered on time.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of proven experience as a technical lead, with the ability to supervise and guide team members.
• Prioritize and manage workload across the team.
• Review build documentation before projects and identify/validate questions or concerns.
• Direct build activities related to Data Center Operations.
• Serve as an escalation point for L1 and L2 teams.
• Establish and support predetermined training paths in line with data center standards.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting support and resolve technical issues/tickets.
• Ensure projects are aligned with data center standards.
• Serve as a point of contact between the staffing team and the data center team.
• Coordinate activities with other teams as needed for project builds and escalations.

Pay Rate: $50-53/hr. (Hourly wage may be negotiable based upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors)

Duration: 12 Months

Shift: Graveyard
