Aufgaben

• Maternal monitoring: track blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and oxygen saturation; watch for preeclampsia or infection.
• Labor support: assist with positioning, breathing techniques, and comfort measures.
• IV therapy: start and maintain IVs for hydration, meds, or anesthesia.
• Patient advocacy: support birth plans and cultural needs; ensure safety.
• Newborn care: assess Apgar, provide warmth, and administer prophylaxis.
