Travel Nursing Job Details

Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery
Location: Vallejo, California 94589 (Bay Area nursing jobs)
Unit: Labor & Delivery (Critical Need)
Start Date: September 9, 2025
End Date: December 6, 2025
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed)
Estimated Weekly Pay: $2830 - $3030

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Minimum 1 year of recent full-time Labor & Delivery RN experience (within the last 3 years)
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
ACLS certification
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or related field
Preferred: 5+ years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience (within the last 2 years)
Preferred: 1 year of high-risk labor and delivery RN experience within the last 2 years
Preferred: High Risk OB experience

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver expert nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit, including high-risk obstetric cases
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Administer medications and assist with labor and delivery procedures
Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
