Travel Nursing Job Details

Location: Grand Junction, CO 81505 – Explore Colorado nursing jobs with mountain views, outdoor recreation, and a vibrant community.
Assignment Length: 13-week travel nurse contract
Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,370 - $2,540
Facility Setting: LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) unit
Shift: 12-hour day shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours/week (average 36 hours/week)
Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
On-Call: As needed based on unit census and staffing
Start Date: September 24, 2025

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent LDRP or Labor & Delivery nursing experience (2 years preferred)
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Proficient in adapting to new healthcare environments and EMR systems
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

L&D RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to women and newborns during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases
Monitor maternal and fetal health, respond to obstetric emergencies, and assist with deliveries
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
Educate patients and families on postpartum care, newborn health, and recovery
Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
