Job summary

Referment is seeking an experienced Learning and Development Program Operations Manager to lead a team of L&D coordinators and shape how learning initiatives are delivered across the organisation. The role blends hands‑on delivery with people development, partnering with a generative‑AI learning team to drive efficient, scalable programmes and embed practical AI adoption in daily workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in programme management, operations, or related field at manager level.
• Proven track record in operational process redesign and modernising workflows for measurable efficiency and transparency.
• Recent, practical experience applying generative-AI tools to improve business workflows, content development, or team productivity.
• Experience managing and developing people; strong organisation, project management and delegation skills.
• Versatile background in PMO leadership or workforce innovation; ability to manage broad operational challenges.
• Experience in Product Management or treating internal services as a product is highly desirable.
• Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable collaborating with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to operate through ambiguity while maintaining momentum, clarity and attention to detail.
• Direct L&D experience is useful but not essential; strong candidates may come from related fields.
• Open to candidates from programme management, operational excellence, or product management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop L&D coordinators, setting clear priorities and providing constructive feedback.
• Partner with the generative-AI learning team to plan and execute initiatives with resources and sessions running smoothly.
• Identify manual, time-intensive L&D processes and redesign them to improve efficiency and scalability; modernise workflows using tools to enhance transparency and automation.
• Encourage practical adoption of generative-AI tools within team workflows to improve content development, research, and administrative efficiency.
• Keep complex, multi-stakeholder programmes on track by anticipating risks, resolving delivery issues, and communicating clearly with senior stakeholders.
