Job summary

UCSF Learning & Leadership Development is seeking a Program Manager to architect, execute, and scale core manager development programs across the campus and health system.

Reporting to the Director, you will partner with HRBPs and leaders to diagnose needs, design curricula, facilitate cohorts, and measure long-term impact, advancing UCSF's PRIDE values and commitment to inclusive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Adult Education, I/O Psychology, HR, or related field.
• 5+ years of executive facilitation and leadership development experience.
• End-to-End L&D experience in complex, matrixed environments (higher education or healthcare preferred).
• Consultative & Diagnostic capability; translate business needs into learning solutions.
• Facilitation skills with experience engaging diverse audiences and ensuring psychological safety.
• Instructional design knowledge and curriculum mapping for leadership development.
• Data-driven mindset; define KPIs and report program value to executives.
• Collaborative with HRBPs, faculty, clinical leaders, and staff across levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder intake and diagnose capability gaps across management tiers.
• Design a comprehensive, multi-tier core manager development strategy.
• Build scalable, inclusive curricula using adult learning principles.
• Facilitate cohorts, workshops, and peer coaching across formats.
• Manage program operations, LMS, and communications.
• Establish measurement frameworks to track ROI and impact over time.
