Job summary

Amazon is seeking an OpX Leader for Learning & Development to serve as the single-threaded PMO leader across 200+ SSD and GFC sites. You will build PMO infrastructure, manage intake, sizing matrices, and a metrics framework linking training to business impact.

You will represent L&D to executives, drive capacity and timelines, and ensure training solutions are delivered on time with measurable outcomes. This role focuses on strategic, data-driven performance and cross-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• 5+ years of cross functional project delivery experience.
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
• Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.
• Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single-threaded leader for L&D within network PMO processes across SSD and GFC, integrating into Operations PMO mechanisms.
• Own the L&D project intake process, serving as the first gate to make go/no-go decisions on training solutions.
• Create, own, and maintain the L&D project sizing matrix mapping needs to training options and timelines.
• Build and manage ASANA as the L&D PMO mechanism with cadence reviews and deliverables.
• Develop internal processes for weekly project reviews, milestone tracking, and escalation paths.
• Build a metrics and tracking system for on-time completion, training effectiveness, and business impact.
• Ensure L&D solutions meet internal quality and design standards through review/approval processes.
• Represent the L&D organization to external stakeholders up to VP level with credible updates.
