Job summary

Capital One’s Commercial Banking Learning & Development team is seeking a Learning & Development Manager to own leadership development programs and act as the primary L&D consultant for assigned CML business lines. The role focuses on designing structured, cohort-based learning experiences and partnering with business leaders to close performance gaps with practical learning solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• At least 3 years of client facing consulting experience.
• At least 3 years of experience working in Learning and Development.
• At least 3 years of experience managing cohort-based learning programs.
• At least 2 year of project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Design & Scale Cohort Programs: Lead the strategy, development, and execution of CML’s Differential Investment Programs, creating structured learning paths that build strong peer networks.
• Modernize the Learner Experience: Update program formats using modern digital platforms, AI-driven adaptive learning paths, microlearning, and self-paced application exercises without losing the high-engagement, premium feel of the cohort experience.
• Program Operations: Oversee end-to-end program delivery, leveraging modern tools to streamline participant selection, facilitator preparation, schedule management, and curriculum updates.
