Job summary
Hidden Jobs is seeking an experienced DevOps/SRE professional to operate and enhance a large-scale Kubernetes platform supporting engineering workloads globally. You will own Day 1 and Day 2 lifecycle tasks, build tooling, and participate in on-call rotation to drive reliability.
The role requires deep Kubernetes expertise, Go-based automation, and a track record of maintaining production stability, observability, and incident management in distributed environments.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience managing production environments in DevOps or SRE.
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes primitives (Deployments, StatefulSets, Services) and custom Operators.
- Proficiency in Go for systems programming and automation.
- Experience with production stability, monitoring, observability, and incident response.
Responsibilities
- Operate and continuously improve a large Kubernetes platform, ensuring peak availability, performance, and reliability across regions.
- Design and evolve internal tooling and automation to reduce manual work and streamline platform delivery for other engineering groups.
- Manage Day 1 provisioning and Day 2 lifecycle operations for Kubernetes clusters, including scaling, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.
- Participate in production on-call rotations, lead high-severity incident response, and drive follow-up improvements.
- Partner with infrastructure and platform peers to advance operational practices and platform evolution.
