Job summary

Hidden Jobs is seeking an experienced distributed-systems engineer to help build a cloud-based network management platform. You will design and evolve scalable microservices with a focus on reliability for thousands of customer sites.

You will work with Kafka streaming, Kubernetes, and AWS, implement CI/CD, and mentor teammates while collaborating with product groups to translate customer needs into shipped software.

Qualifications

• Production-grade coding experience in C++ or Go for distributed systems.
• Experience designing and operating microservices in production.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with streaming data (Kafka) and telemetry data.

Responsibilities

• Architect fault-tolerant, horizontally scalable microservices for high-volume telemetry.
• Build, deploy, and operate containerized workloads with Kubernetes across cloud environments.
• Design streaming pipelines and Kafka-backed messaging for large-scale systems.
• Develop collectors for networking data such as NetFlow and Syslog.
• Apply AI-assisted engineering and data-informed debugging to improve reliability.
• Collaborate with product and engineering peers to translate customer needs into shipped software, while mentoring teammates.
