Job summary

The Ruby Slipper Cafe is seeking a shift supervisor to lead our brunch-focused operation, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for every guest. You will manage service, staff performance, and daily gamesmanship, while coaching team members to deliver top-notch hospitality.

We value morning-people who can balance pancakes and people, train staff, and keep the restaurant running smoothly in a growing concept.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and communication skills.
• Experience in food & beverage front or back of house, minimum 3 years.
• Basic math and technology skills; able to operate a POS system.
• Able to stand for long periods (up to 10 hours).
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Willing to train and coach staff to success.

A shift supervisor who is excited about running a growing brunch-only concept restaurant.

A motivated morning person who can manage both pancakes and people. We want someone who will take charge of the restaurant while helping their staff reach their full potential, while ensuring an exceptional dining experience for every guest every time.

The Highlights of a Successful Krewe Captain:

• Strong verbal and communication skills.


• Has knowledge of service and food and beverage operations. Generally, has at least three years of front or back of the house positional experience.


• Possess excellent basic math and technology skills and has the ability to operate a POS system.


• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).


• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.


• Must have the stamina to work 40-45 hours per week.


• Must be willing and able to train/coach team to success


• Able to perform delicate tasks to achieve success.
