Job summary

The Ruby Slipper Cafe in Chattanooga is hiring to provide friendly and responsive service, delivering an exceptional brunch dining experience. As a server, you’ll embody the brunch life and help make guests feel welcomed and valued.

Ideal candidates communicate well, manage basic math at the POS, stand for long periods, and lift trays up to 25 lbs. This role offers days-only shifts with growth opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our Guests.
• Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
• Possess basic math skills and can responsibly handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
• Be able to safely lift and maneuver trays weighing up to 20–25 lbs.

Job Summary:

Provide friendly and responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all our guests. Each server’s primary objective is to embody that brunch life and give our guests a little lagniappe to create those raving Ruby fans!

What does it take to be a Ruby Krewe Member?

• A firm belief that butter and bacon make everything better!
• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our Guests
• Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
• Possess basic math skills and can responsibly handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
• Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25lbs
