Lions Gate CCRC Senior Living in Voorhees, NJ is seeking a dependable Line Cook to join our Dietary Services team. You will prepare meals, maintain a kosher kitchen, and work in a fast-paced, restaurant-style environment to deliver quality dining experiences for residents.

This full-time role requires every-other-weekend work, attention to food safety, and collaboration with dietary staff to ensure menu accuracy and timely service.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of cooking or food preparation experience in restaurant, healthcare, senior living, or similar setting.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation and proper handling procedures.
• Ability to follow recipes, maintain portion control and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong teamwork, communication and organizational skills.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes, preparation guidelines and portion sizes.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and follow sanitation and safety standards.
• Stock cookline with necessary food, supplies and utensils prior to meal service.
• Follow production screens and instructions provided through POS system for timely meal prep.
• Follow kosher dietary laws and kitchen procedures to maintain the kosher environment.
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff and dietary team to support service.
• Assist other cooks and dietary staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Complete cleaning duties as per departmental procedures and standards.
