Lions Gate CCRC Senior Living in Voorhees, NJ is seeking a dependable Line Cook to join our Dietary Services team. You will prepare meals, maintain a kosher kitchen, and work in a fast-paced environment with staff across dietary and dining services.

The role requires 1–3 years of cooking experience, knowledge of food safety, and a commitment to quality dining for residents. This is a full-time position with every-other-weekend availability.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of cooking or food preparation experience in healthcare, senior living, or food service.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper handling procedures.
• Ability to follow recipes, maintain portion control, and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work full-time including every other weekend.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and portion sizes.
• Complete daily food preparation tasks while maintaining quality and presentation standards.
• Set up and stock the cookline with necessary supplies before meal service.
• Follow production screens and POS instructions for timely meal prep.
• Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and safety practices.
• Follow clean-as-you-go policy and complete cleaning duties as required.
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house and dietary staff to support service.
• Assist other cooks and dietary staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Strictly follow kosher dietary laws and procedures.
