Jewish Family Service LA (JFSLA) in Los Angeles seeks a dedicated Food Service/Inventory Specialist to oversee kosher compliance, receive and store supplies, and manage inventory for large-scale cooking operations.

You will monitor temperatures, ensure food safety, coordinate with vendors, and assist with packaging as needed. A strong knowledge of Kashrut and English communication is essential for this role.

Formación

• Knowledge of Jewish Dietary Laws and ability to apply Kashrut in operations.
• Ability to input inventory and use inventory systems.
• Strong reading, writing and communication in English.

Responsabilidades

• Certify Kashrut compliance for all food and deliveries.
• Oversee receiving, storage, and transport of items for koshering.
• Monitor and log daily temperatures for food safety and compliance.
• Manage weekly inventory and organize storerooms.
• Prepare and assist with food packaging as assignments require.
• Supervise off-site catering and ensure proper storage and handling.
