Job summary

Jewish Home Family is seeking an experienced kitchen supervisor to ensure high-quality, consistent meals for a large community. You will lead daily operations, oversee meal preparation, purchasing, cost controls, sanitation, safety, and staff training.

The role requires strong knowledge of health codes and Kosher guidelines where applicable. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of cooking for large groups, Serv-Safe certification, and a proven commitment to accuracy and safety in a busy kitchen

Qualifications

• 3–5 years cooking experience for 100+ people.
• Serv-Safe Certification.
• Knowledge of Kosher guidelines (preferred).
• Strong sanitation and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations including meal preparation, purchasing, cost control, sanitation, safety, and staff training.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Knowledge of local and state health and sanitation and safety codes.
• Observes safety and security procedures; reports unsafe conditions.
