Job summary

The Parker Jewish Institute in New Hyde Park, NY is seeking a Mashgiach/Kosher Cook for per diem, on an as-needed basis, to join the Food Service team and ensure Kosher compliance across daily meals.

Reporting to the Director of Food Services, the Mashgiach will supervise kitchen operations, assist with cooking and preparation of Kosher meals, manage inventory, and coordinate tray assembly and delivery for residents.

Qualifications

• Must have Kosher cooking experience and knowledge of dietary laws.
• Experience as Mashgiach in hotel, food establishment, or institutional setting preferred.
• Ability to cook and prepare Kosher meals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise kosher compliance in kitchen operations.
• Prepare Kosher meals for daily service and special diets.
