Job summary

Jewish Board seeks a Culinary Service Assistant Manager to lead meal service across residential programs and the Mishkon campus. You will supervise kitchen staff, ensure kosher and medical diet requirements, and support program teams with compliant, high-quality meals.

Responsibilities include overseeing menus, monitoring food safety, coordinating with clinical and dietary teams, and maintaining equipment and inventory within budget and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership across multiple sites and teams.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and dietary accommodations.
• Experience coordinating kosher and therapeutic diets.
• Ability to plan menus and portion control to meet budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day food service operations across residential programs and Mishkon campus.
• Supervise cooks and food service staff; onboard, train, schedule, and develop the team.
• Monitor inventory, purchasing, and budgeting; coordinate with vendors.
• Ensure sanitation, regulatory compliance, and proper meal service standards.
