Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc, within the Sysco Specialty Meat Group (SSMG), seeks a sales professional to execute the territory sales plan across Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego. You will build relationships, promote products and secure orders to maximize sales profitability.

Preferred: Korean speaking or experience with Korean protein customers; 2 years of food-service sales; meat/seafood category knowledge; strong communication and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Meat/seafood knowledge required or strongly preferred.
• Consultative sales experience.
• Ability to manage time and stay self-directed.
• Strong customer relations and urgency in meeting needs.

Responsibilities

• Establish, develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers in the territory to generate new business.
• Make in-person visits and presentations to customers.
• Take customer orders with sales and GP/Stop goals in mind.
• Coordinate with inside sales for order input and pricing accuracy.
• Respond quickly to customer problems and needs.
• Review stock levels, transportation issues and implement solutions.
• Analyze sales and margin reports for improvement opportunities.
