CDL Driver
CDL Driver's day usually begins around 7:00 AM – sometimes earlier – and ends at approximately 4:30 PM. Generally there is no weekend work, but hours may vary by location.
CDL Driver Responsibilities
- Lives the mission statement.
- Acts as a front‑line representative while providing outstanding customer service.
- Splits time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse.
- Uses a Moffett forklift to make deliveries.
- Interacts with customers and/or crews at job sites.
- Provides exceptional service to each Lansing customer and constantly strives to improve that level of service.
- Keeps warehouse clean and orderly.
- Performs other functions as needed, such as cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.
CDL Driver Qualifications
- CDL B (or A) license required.
- Clean driving record.
- Experience with Moffett forklift.
- Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus, and as a contributing member of a larger team.
- Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing up to 70 pounds.
- Experience with building products is very helpful.
- Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude.
- At least one year of driving experience.
- Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck.
