Lansing Building Products is seeking a CDL Driver to support deliveries and warehouse operations in Williston, VT. The role emphasizes strong customer service as you interact with customers and crews at job sites while handling delivery duties using a Moffett forklift.

The position requires a CDL license, clean driving record, and at least one year of driving experience, with forklift and piggyback truck familiarity highly valued. A stable, safety‑minded team environment is offered.

Qualifications

• CDL B (or A) license required.
• Clean driving record.
• Experience with Moffett forklift.
• Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus, and as a contributing member of a larger team.
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Experience with building products is very helpful.
• Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude.
• At least one year of driving experience.
• Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck.

Responsibilities

• Provides frontline customer service and represents Lansing Building Products.
• Splits time between deliveries and warehouse work.
• Uses a Moffett forklift to make deliveries.
• Interacts with customers and crews at job sites.
• Keeps warehouse clean and orderly.
• Performs cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.

Job description

CDL Driver

CDL Driver's day usually begins around 7:00 AM – sometimes earlier – and ends at approximately 4:30 PM. Generally there is no weekend work, but hours may vary by location.

CDL Driver Responsibilities

• Lives the mission statement.
• Acts as a front‑line representative while providing outstanding customer service.
• Splits time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse.
• Uses a Moffett forklift to make deliveries.
• Interacts with customers and/or crews at job sites.
• Provides exceptional service to each Lansing customer and constantly strives to improve that level of service.
• Keeps warehouse clean and orderly.
• Performs other functions as needed, such as cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.

CDL Driver Qualifications

• CDL B (or A) license required.
