Lansing Building Products is hiring a CDL Driver to support daily deliveries and warehouse operations. The role involves driving routes, interacting with customers at job sites, and handling materials with a moffett forklift.

Qualifications

• CDL B (or A) license required; clean driving record.
• Experience with moffett forklift preferred; forklift certification helpful.
• One year of driving experience required; ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Strong customer service skills and a proactive work ethic are essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver as assigned; front-line Lansing representative with excellent customer service.
• Split time between deliveries and warehouse duties.
• Operate moffett forklift for deliveries and material handling.
• Ensure safety, accuracy, and timeliness of orders; assist with other tasks as needed.

HOME EVERY NIGHT! CDL Driver's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)

CDL Driver Responsibilities

• Lives the mission statement
• Acts as a front-line Lansing representative while providing outstanding customer service
• Splits time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse
• Uses a moffett forklift to make deliveries
• Interacts with customers and or crews at job sites
• Provides exceptional service to each Lansing customer…and constantly strive to improve that level of service
• Keeps warehouse clean and orderly
• This is a "get-the-job-done" kind of position...you may be asked to perform other functions not particularly addressed in this posting, such as cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.

CDL Driver Qualifications

• CDL B (or A) license is required for this position
• CDL Driver must have a clean driving record
• Have moffett forklift experience
• Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus -- and to work as a contributing member of a larger team
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing as much as 70 pounds
• Experience with building products is very helpful
• Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude
• At least one year of driving experience
• Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck
