Job summary

Avalore, LLC is seeking a Knowledge Manager to design, implement, and manage the War Data Platform's KM system, serving as the program’s single source of truth. You will develop governance, taxonomies, version control, and lifecycle procedures, and translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly documentation and self-service resources.

Qualifications

• Secret Security Clearance required.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Multiple levels available: Junior (0-3 years), Journeyman (4-7 years), Senior (8+ years).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Strong communication and self-starter mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Travel up to 10%.
• Ability to sit at a computer terminal for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage the KM system for the War Data Platform (WDP).
• Develop and maintain governance, taxonomies, version control, and lifecycle procedures.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and self-service resources (KB articles, user guides, FAQs, SOPs).
• Collaborate with technical leads, program managers, and training specialists to translate complex concepts into clear documentation.
• Analyze user feedback to improve documentation, searchability, usability, and knowledge flow.
