SAIC seeks a Knowledge Manager for the NORAD/NORTHCOM NITES program, onsite in Colorado Springs. You will develop and govern the organization’s knowledge ecosystem, ensuring critical information is captured, organized, and accessible.

This role reduces friction, accelerates onboarding, and strengthens collaboration across teams to support mission success. You will lead governance, metadata, and taxonomy development, manage platforms like SharePoint, Confluence, and Teams, and drive adoption

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. Two years of relevant experience required; 8+ years can substitute.
• Experience managing enterprise platforms such as SharePoint, Teams, Confluence, or similar systems.
• Strong governance knowledge including taxonomies, metadata, and lifecycle standards.
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex information into accessible formats.
• Experience with knowledge workflow automation or using AI/Power Platform to streamline processes.

Responsabilidades

• Define knowledge strategy with vision, framework, and governance model for Knowledge Management.
• Develop content standards, taxonomies, metadata, and conventions for accessibility.
• Lead governance committees for knowledge quality, maintenance, and compliance.
• Own and manage knowledge platforms (SharePoint, Confluence, Teams) and enterprise search tools.
• Utilize automation and AI tools to streamline knowledge workflows and lifecycle management.
• Oversee content lifecycle including review, archiving, or retirement as needed.
• Build repository of SOPs and institutional guides for knowledge enablement.
• Improve search to enhance findability and reduce time-to-information.
• Foster cross-team collaboration to standardize processes across the enterprise.
• Deliver training on knowledge tools and best practices to drive adoption.
