Job summary

Intrepid, an SPA Company, seeks a Knowledge Manager to support PEO Missiles and Space for IF D– International, FMS activities in Huntsville, AL. You will coordinate daily operations, plan ahead, and manage acquisition systems for FMS throughout maturity stages, presenting findings and recommendations to government customers.

You will develop KM processes, tools, and training, implement changes, and create white papers, executive summaries, and briefs across program, technical, and logistics

Qualifications

• Active DoD SECRET clearance required.
• 3-10 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in information management, information technology, education, or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, SharePoint, and Power Apps.
• Demonstrated ability to build teams, re-engineer business processes, and motivate others to attain goals.
• Inherent working knowledge of the DoD Acquisition process.
• Proven ability to assess complex problems and present coherent positions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with senior leaders, military personnel, government civilians, and contractors.
• Ability to work in the Huntsville, AL area onsite five days per week; telework only by mission-based exception.

Responsibilities

• Develop program policies, processes, and systems to capture and exploit organizational knowledge.
• Disseminate knowledge products and maintain connectivity for timely decisions.
• Serve as transformation/change agent for best practices in internal/external tool development.
• Maintain and develop website/portal; create Power Apps in MS Teams.
• Assist leadership in driving KM change and institutionalizing processes and tools.
• Educate employees about KM processes and benefits.
• Gather business requirements and design/develop KM sites and integrated apps.
• Promote KM and build knowledge teams for content migration plans.
• Develop new organizational online communities and KM initiatives.
• Implement change-management programs to move toward a knowledge-centric culture.
• Provide assessments and recommended changes to documentation across domains.
• Maintain configuration control and archival of docs.
• Track and complete assigned requirements from parent organizations.
• Organize meetings with stakeholders; coordinate with key personnel.
• Provide advice on difficult problems requiring subject-matter knowledge.
• Prepare reports, studies, and briefs for leadership; develop charts to document decisions.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
