Job summary

The International Monetary Fund is seeking a Knowledge Management Officer for the EUR Department to lead knowledge and information management initiatives and supervise the Research Analyst/Research Officer cadre. Qualifications

  • Advanced university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related field with 4+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 10+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Two years of related experience at Grade A10 or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Advise EUR Management on knowledge, data and information management initiatives, including processes, standards and workflows
  • Coordinate assessments of knowledge assets and identify gaps in metadata, content quality and accessibility
  • Advise on knowledge management tools and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Represent departmental needs in Fund-wide governance bodies and working groups
  • Collaborate with ITD, ICD, STA, RES, CSF/Library, LEG and other teams to align KM priorities and budget processes
  • Manage EUR subscriptions for commercial data and information and oversee acquisition of knowledge services
