Job summary

HII Mission Technologies seeks an experienced Systems Application Analyst to support the Navy Warfare Development Center at Norfolk Naval Station. The role focuses on building and enhancing knowledge management, including SharePoint governance, web resources, and collaboration tools to strengthen operational effectiveness.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in KM programs, strong SharePoint/HTML/CSS/JS skills, and the ability to work with Military and Government leaders.

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's in related field; 3 years with a Master's; or equivalent.
Experience developing KM programs within technology-focused or government organizations.
Experience implementing and supporting SharePoint-based knowledge and collaboration solutions.
Experience developing or maintaining web resources using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Strong understanding of knowledge lifecycle management, governance, taxonomy, metadata, and organizational learning.
Ability to translate business requirements into KM processes and technical solutions.
Experience communicating with and influencing senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Willingness to travel to remote site facilities and work non-standard hours as needed.
U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain/maintain a US Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and improve the enterprise Knowledge Management framework, strategy, and governance.
Lead KM initiatives and provide guidance to KM teams and stakeholders.
Identify, capture, organize, classify, and assess organizational knowledge assets.
Design, configure, administer, and maintain SharePoint sites and workflows.
Develop web-based KM resources using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript with responsive interfaces.
Ensure accessibility and usability of organizational knowledge resources.
Coordinate KM initiatives with cross-functional teams to align with operations and training.
Promote KM platforms and encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Establish content lifecycle governance to keep information accurate and current.
Support KM training materials, user guides, and standards.
Identify barriers to KM adoption and develop improvement strategies.
Evaluate new technologies to enhance enterprise search and knowledge discovery.
