Paychex is seeking a Knowledge Management professional to lead enterprise governance and semantic initiatives within a dynamic team. The role partners with product, IT, and operations to map content relationships, improve search, and drive AI-enabled knowledge experiences.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Knowledge Management principles, content governance, taxonomy development, metadata management, and information architecture.
• Understanding of semantic technologies and knowledge representation concepts, including taxonomies, ontologies, controlled vocabularies, entity modeling, and knowledge graphs.
• Experience designing or governing knowledge structures that support enterprise search, AI-powered experiences, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or semantic discovery capabilities.
• Ability to translate complex business concepts into scalable knowledge models and governance frameworks that enable findability, interoperability, and organizational intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Manage the enterprise knowledge catalog and governance processes.
• Define knowledge domains and governance standards to support AI-driven experiences.
• Map relationships between content, processes, services, and organizational knowledge assets.
• Evaluate and implement improvements to taxonomy, metadata, and content structures for efficiency.
• Lead knowledge quality assurance, audits, and remediation planning.
