Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal seeks a knowledge management professional to join the KM Services team, driving value from knowledge assets and enabling AI-powered capabilities. You will manage North American units, collaborate with business stakeholders, and help scale KM practices across the firm.

The role requires 5+ years in KM, a related bachelor’s degree, and fluency in English. You will work with global teams to design tools, improve libraries and search, and promote KM adoption across consulting

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in a knowledge management role.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work/technical experience in business studies, business administration, or management.
Experience leading projects from inception to completion with stakeholders on timelines and change management.
Experience in a professional services or consultancy firm.
Proven experience working with professionals up to C-level.
Experience with KM technology (e.g., SharePoint libraries, AI-enabled search and discovery tools).
Fluent English required.

Responsibilities

Own the day-to-day KM relationship for an assigned portfolio of 3-4 North American business units; potential to expand.
Serve as the liaison between business units and the central KM team; maximize KM adoption and value.
Lead projects to build and refine KM processes and tools; coordinate timelines with KM services, KM tech, and other groups.
Monitor and provide routine support for KM processes and tools (libraries, taxonomies, capture, search, communities).
Provide advice and recommendations to business units based on KM best practices.
Partner with KM colleagues to design and build global capabilities and tools (e.g., expert profiles, conversational knowledge search).
Support KM initiatives globally; share knowledge of processes and tools across the firm.
Contribute to growing and evolving KM capability by applying best practices.
Provide insight into business needs and end-user experience to keep KM offerings relevant.
Identify KM trends and best practices; promote knowledge sharing and adoption across region and firm.
