Job summary

RSI seeks a Knowledge Management Specialist to design, implement, and sustain the organization’s KM program in Grand Junction, CO. You will promote collaboration, information governance, and digital workplace solutions to maximize organizational knowledge and workforce continuity.

The role partners with Information Governance, Records Management, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and secure knowledge assets while driving adoption of KM platforms and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management or related field is required.
• Experience with knowledge management governance and information architecture is required.
• Certifications such as CKM, CIP, PMP are preferred.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and records management principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and improvement of the Legacy Management Knowledge Management Program.
• Develop and maintain KM strategy, roadmap, and governance framework.
• Design and manage knowledge lifecycle processes including creation, capture, storage, and disposition.
• Administer knowledge repositories and collaboration platforms including SharePoint and Microsoft 365.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, retention schedules, and security requirements.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer from subject matter experts to reduce knowledge loss.
• Analyze processes to improve knowledge sharing and information accessibility.
• Establish Communities of Practice and knowledge-sharing forums.
• Deliver training and change management initiatives for knowledge platforms.
• Monitor program performance with metrics and dashboards.
