Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced AI platform strategist for a law firm to partner with attorneys and paralegals in implementing AI solutions across matters and practices.

You will lead end-to-end deployments, collaborate with internal technical teams, and develop governance and training materials to scale responsible AI use while managing risk and upholding professional standards.

Qualifications

• Law firm experience as attorney, paralegal, or legal operations professional.
• J.D. or paralegal certification preferred but not required with relevant AI experience.
• Proven track record translating legal workflows into AI-enabled solutions.
• Genuine technical depth with AI platforms, sufficient to dig into how they work and problem-solve directly.
• Ability to partner effectively with other technical teams on more complex builds.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Creative and resourceful, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound legal judgment and critical thinking about risks/benefits of AI tools.
• 5+ years of experience in a law firm or legal technology environment.
• Hands-on experience implementing AI tools directly with attorneys.
• Deep platform fluency.
• Strong grasp of legal workflows.

• Identify, elevate, and help address legal and professional‑responsibility concerns for AI‑enabled workflows


• Partner with compliance to translate compliance processes to AI tools


• Design and lead an ongoing communications and training program for legal AI tools and resources


• Create live/presented content and self‑serve materials


• Tailor communications and training to different practice groups


• Partner with Practice Support Lawyers and the Attorney Training team on subject matter, scheduling, format, and audience


• Report to the Associate Director of Knowledge Management & Innovation

Requirements

• Law firm background as an attorney, paralegal, or legal operations professional


• J.D. or paralegal certification is a plus but not required for candidates with relevant law firm AI experience


• Proven track record working directly with attorneys to translate real legal workflows into AI‑enabled solutions


• Genuine technical depth with AI platforms, sufficient to dig into how they work and problem‑solve directly


• Ability to partner effectively with other technical teams on more complex builds


• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills


• Creative and resourceful, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment with limited structure and shifting priorities


• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and stakeholders
