Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Lead to run a global AI Enablement program for West Coast offices, empowering attorneys with foundational AI skills and tech tools.

You will design curricula, lead training sessions, manage change initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate adoption while tracking analytics and reporting progress to senior leadership.

Job description

• Lead delivery of a global, attorney-facing AI Enablement program across the West Coast offices
• Provide attorneys with foundational skills to practice law responsibly with AI and legal technology tools
• Drive measurable incorporation of AI and legal technology through change management programs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate regional technology adoption
• Serve as primary point of contact and escalation for AI enablement matters across West Coast offices
• Track and interpret adoption analytics to measure enablement effectiveness
• Design and execute AI and legal technology enablement programs for legal and client delivery workflows
• Design and deliver training curricula, AI academies, hackathons, workshops and vendor deep dives
• Maintain session outlines, curricula and worked examples in the team's central library
• Develop change strategies, communications plans and reinforcement mechanisms
• Lead communications and resources including portals, newsletters, user guides, FAQs and video guides
• Contribute to AI partnering and experimentation with practice groups
• Exercise independent judgement in running the West Coast AI enablement program
• Stay current on AI and legal technology trends and industry developments
• Report adoption progress, risks and escalations to the Senior Manager and Senior Director
• Deliver one-to-one and group training sessions
• Travel to other offices, including West Coast offices and internationally, if required

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in legal technology, innovation, enablement or change management, ideally within a law firm, professional services or comparable knowledge-driven environment
• Demonstrated success leading technology adoption and change management initiatives at scale with measurable adoption outcomes
• Understanding of attorney workflows and the practice of law
• Familiarity with AI and legal technology platforms, including generative AI tools, document review, drafting and knowledge management systems
• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Ability to build credibility and become a trusted advisor
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Sound judgement
• Excellent communication, facilitation and program management skills
• Comfort working with adoption and usage analytics
• Experience delivering training and facilitation one-to-one and in group settings
• Bachelor's degree required
