Job summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. is seeking a Knowledge Management Attorney to support labor and employment practices through legal knowledge resources, training, and technology-enabled solutions.

You will collaborate with attorneys, practice leaders, and business professionals to improve knowledge sharing and consistency in service delivery. As a KM Attorney, you will help capture and scale the firm’s collective knowledge, develop reusable work products, and promote best practices across practice groups.

Qualifications

• J.D. required and bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 3–8 years of labor and employment law experience preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Interest in knowledge management, professional development, or legal tech.
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical resources.
• Excellent project management and collaboration skills.
• Independence with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Identify KM priorities for practices and firm initiatives and develop strategies to advance objectives.
• Build, organize, maintain, and enhance the firm’s knowledge resources and precedents.
• Monitor legal developments relevant to labor and employment law and related areas.
• Maintain and improve knowledge repositories and intranet content for accuracy and accessibility.
• Collaborate with attorneys to capture institutional knowledge and promote best practices.
• Support content governance to ensure consistency, quality, and usability of assets.
• Develop and deliver training programs and knowledge-sharing initiatives for attorneys and paralegals.
• Assist with onboarding and continuing legal education materials.
