Job summary

Accenture seeks an experienced Knowledge Modeler / Ontologist to design, govern, and deliver enterprise ontologies for knowledge graph initiatives. You will collaborate with business SMEs, data engineering, and AI/ML teams to translate complex domains into rigorous semantic models across OWL 2, RDF, and SKOS, ensuring governance and compliance.

You will lead ontology design, mapping, validation, and deployment while aligning with regulatory and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on ontology engineering, knowledge modeling, or related semantic web discipline.
• Proven delivery of enterprise domain ontologies in consulting or corporate settings.
• Bachelor’s in Information Science, Computer Science, Library Science, Linguistics, Philosophy, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead ontology lifecycle from requirements to deployment across OWL 2, RDF, RDFS, and SKOS.
• Design T-Box schemas and contribute to A-Box hydration patterns.
• Apply naming conventions, URI strategies, and modular architecture principles.
• Build knowledge graphs to support reasoning and analytics; ensure alignment with business goals and governance.
