Job summary

Accenture seeks an experienced Knowledge Modeler to shape domain ontologies for enterprise knowledge graphs. You will design semantic models, govern standards, and collaborate with AI/ML and data teams to translate complex domains into rigorous ontologies.

You will drive alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements, mentoring SMEs and ensuring scalable, testable ontology implementations across projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in ontology engineering or related semantic web discipline.
• Experience delivering domain ontologies in enterprise or consulting context.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead ontology lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
• Design schema (T-Box) and hydration patterns across data sources.
• Create ontologies, taxonomies, and vocabularies using OWL, RDF, RDFS and SKOS.
• Collaborate with data engineering, NLP, and business SMEs to test competency questions.
