Job summary

TopDog Law is seeking a Knowledge Management & Communications Specialist to build and govern the organization’s central Knowledge Center, ensuring accurate, accessible resources for staff across the firm.

You will collaborate with SMEs, instructional designers, and leaders to translate policies into clear learning assets, establish information architecture, and maintain documentation governance that supports onboarding and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, HR, Marketing, Education, Training & Development, Knowledge Management, or related field.
• 2+ years in knowledge management, technical writing, or process documentation.
• Experience creating job aids, SOPs, process maps, FAQs, or operational docs.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Strong organizational and information-architecture skills.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems and knowledge bases.

Responsibilities

• Own the Knowledge Center: structure, maintain, and standards across the organization.
• Develop information architecture, taxonomy, and organization-wide standards.
• Governance, version control, and audit readiness for all documents.
• Translate policies and workflows into clear learning assets; develop job aids and FAQs.
• Coordinate with SMEs, ID, L&D, and leaders for updates and compliance.
• Drives onboarding efficiency, documentation quality, and change communication.
