Job summary

Strategic Factory in Owings Mills, MD, is seeking an experienced KM-1 Press Operator to set up, operate, monitor, and maintain the AccurioJet KM-1 press. You will ensure production quality and timely delivery across multiple jobs.

The ideal candidate has print production experience, KM-1 familiarity, and strong troubleshooting skills. The role is Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM, with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

Experience in commercial printing required.
KM-1 experience preferred.
Familiar with RIP systems and press software.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate the Konica Minolta AccurioJet KM-1 press.
Review job tickets, artwork specs, quantities, materials, and finishing requirements.
Prepare files and production settings for accurate printing.
Load paper and verify stock, size, grain direction, and quantity.
Monitor color consistency, registration, image quality, and print accuracy.
Perform press checks and identify defects before production runs.
Make adjustments to color, alignment, and press settings as needed.
Troubleshoot equipment, software, file, and print-quality issues.
