Join MAT Industries, Inc. for an exciting opportunity as a Press Operator on the first shift. Earn a competitive starting rate of $19.50/hour and receive a $1,000 Sign‑On Bonus. Work in an air‑conditioned manufacturing environment that values work/life balance.

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday–Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm (10‑hour shift with three paid breaks and a 30‑minute unpaid lunch). Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance, paid vacation, sick days, and 8 paid holidays.

Responsibilities

• Experience setting up and running presses, including occasional progressive presses.
• Follow all safety regulations and encourage co‑workers to do the same.
• Follow all company policies and procedures and encourage co‑workers to follow them.
• Read and interpret blueprints for product specifications.
• Conduct quality inspections of work.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition and report maintenance and safety concerns.
• Conduct repairs, modifications, and retrofits on production items.
• Provide data to assist in monitoring and tracking project status.
• Assist in training junior employees and inspecting their work.
• Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects.
• Sign off on completed work orders and quality of work.
• Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance, and repair techniques.
• Actively participate in the development of a LEAN manufacturing culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating presses, including overhead cranes.
• 2+ years of experience with LINK systems automation controls.
• High school diploma or GED.
