Job summary

Technimark El Paso is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead kitting and packaging production activities. You will coordinate daily tasks, ensure on-time completion, and maintain accurate inventories in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities include collaborating with planning, purchasing and production teams to forecast needs, drive continuous improvement, and enforce GMP/6S housekeeping and safety policies across the line.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred or qualifying experience.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, manual assembly, kitting or packaging operations.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily activities of kitting associates, assign tasks, and ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels, lead cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies to ensure material availability.
• Work with planning, purchasing, and production teams to forecast needs, resolve shortages, and align kitting operations with broader goals.
• Work with Packaging Teams to develop a safe work environment and train employees to work safely while adhering to all safety policies and guidelines.
• Maintain a strong focus on employee safety, product quality, labor efficiency, materials flow, training & meeting high-volume daily production targets under a 24/7 operation scheme.
• Promote continuous improvement efforts and training programs aimed at achieving positive trends in performance KPIs.
• Deep understanding of packaging production lines, equipment, and workflow optimization.
• Coordinates with other Shift Supervisors to ensure effective shift-to-shift hand-off including a joint walk-through of the manufacturing area.
• Maintain housekeeping standards (GMP/6S) to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
• Communicate, enforce, and maintain all company policies and procedures per the Employee Handbook.
• Ensure adherence to Quality procedures including Certified Operator training, NMR process/documentation, and Quarantine process.
• Effectively communicate with all staff.
• Coach, counsel, discipline and appraise employee’s job results on the assigned frequency, and on time.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy in employee time records.
• Report and measure manufacturing results including production, inventory, and IQ reconciliation.
