Job summary

Genpak is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee a 30-person shift in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. You will ensure safety, quality and on-time production, while training staff and coordinating with other departments.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills to sustain efficient operations. You will plan daily shift activities, track performance data, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to train and develop staff.
• Knowledge of GMP, SQF and safety standards is preferred.
• Experience with production planning and shift management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a production shift of up to 30 employees in a 24/7 environment.
• Train for safety, process, quality and company policies.
• Plan daily shift operations, assign work, manage materials and outputs.
• Ensure production meets specifications and customer expectations.
• Track time, attendance and shift coverage; manage downtime and scrap.
• Lead safety initiatives and maintain GMP/SQF compliance.
• Escalate issues and drive corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain production data and lead hand-off meetings.
