Job summary

Maco PKG is hiring an A-Shift Production Supervisor to take ownership of day-shift production operations in our Contract Packaging division. You’ll lead a team on the production floor, coordinating with maintenance, scheduling, quality, and operations to keep output safe, efficient, and on schedule.

This hands-on leadership role requires you to set daily expectations, monitor performance, and drive improvements while maintaining a safe, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading people in manufacturing or production.
• Clear communication with employees, maintenance, quality, and management.
• Remain composed and decisive in a fast-paced setting.
• Good attendance history and reliability.
• Basic computer skills for recording production data and reporting.
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor staffing levels, productivity, and downtime; keep production on schedule.
• Set daily expectations and adjust to changing production needs.
• Coordinate with maintenance to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime.
• Enforce safety, GMP, and quality standards on the shift.
• Communicate issues to management and drive corrective actions.
