Job summary

Taher is seeking a utility worker for our historic Forepaughs restaurant. You will handle dishwashing, general cleaning, and maintaining a sanitary, organized kitchen area.

Shift availability includes evenings and weekends. Competitive hourly pay, uniforms provided, and opportunities for growth and training are offered to help you advance within the team.

Qualifications

• Able to follow oral and written directions.
• Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able work in standing position for long periods of time.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Follows food safety requirements and guidelines.
• Self-starter that can work independently.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required either by hand or with dish machine.
• Sweep and mop floors.

• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; maintain clean workstation.

Essential Functions

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required either by hand or with dish machine


• Sweep and mop floors


• Wash tables walls, coolers, trash receptacles, etc., as required


• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas


• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas Maintain clean work environment


• Assists other team members as needed


• Be on time


• Maintain assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition


• Maintain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code


• Other tasks as assigned by the leadership team
