Job summary

Commerce ISD in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a utility worker for our historic Forepaughs restaurant. The role focuses on dishwashing, cleaning, and supporting kitchen operations in the evenings and on weekends.

Qualifications

• Able to follow oral and written directions
• Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to work in standing position for long periods of time
• Punctual and dependable
• Follows food safety requirements and guidelines
• Self-starter that can work independently
• Must pass criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils by hand or with a dish machine
• Sweep and mop floors to maintain cleanliness
• Wash tables, walls, coolers, and trash receptacles as needed
• Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transport it to designated areas
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
• Maintain a clean work environment at all times
• Assist other team members as needed and be on time
• Maintain assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition
• Adhere to department dress code and personal hygiene standards
• Other tasks as assigned by leadership

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required either by hand or with dish machine
• Sweep and mop floors
• Wash tables walls, coolers, trash receptacles, etc., as required
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
• Maintain clean work environment
• Assists other team members as needed
• Be on time
• Maintain assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition
• Maintain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code
• Other tasks as assigned by the leadership team
