Job summary

Taher, a family-owned food service management company, is hiring a utility worker for day hours with no nights and no weekends. Responsibilities include dishwashing, floor cleaning, and maintaining a sanitary kitchen environment.

You will support the leadership team and fellow staff in a fast-paced school lunch program. Eligible candidates must pass a background check, be punctual, and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Sweep and mop floors, by hand or with machine.
• Wash tables, walls, coolers, trash receptacles, etc.
• Transport trash to designated areas.
• Maintain clean work environment.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Be on time.
• Maintain assigned workstation in a safe and sanitary condition.
• Follow department dress code.

Essential Functions:

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required either by hand or with dish machine
• Sweep and mop floors, by hand or with machine as needed
• Wash tables walls, coolers, trash receptacles, etc., as required
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas Maintain clean work environment
• Assists other team members as needed
• Be on time
• Maintain assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition
• Maitain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code
• Other tasks as assigned by the leadership team
